AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION: I, R. M. Bell, do solemnly swear that I am now, and was at all times hereinafter mentioned the Adv. Mgr. of The Sheridan Enterprise, a newspaper published daily at Sheridan, Sheridan County, Wyoming, and of general circulation in said city; that the publication attached hereto, being Notice of application and which is a part of this affidavit, was duly pub- lished in three regular issues, to -wit: the Mar. 14- 21 -28, 1916, issue of said paper; that said publication was published in the regular and entire issue of said paper, and was published in the newspaper proper and not in a supplement. Bennett, Trustee: Notice is hereby given that at a tax sale duly held by the Treasurer of Sheridan County, Wyoming, on July 5, 1913, F. C. Hunter purchased the following described real estate situated in Sheridan County, Wyoming, to -wit: Lot Two (2) in Block Three (3) of Woods Addition to the Town (now City) of Sheridan, Wyoming, as the same has been surveyed, platted and filed in the office of the County Clerk of Sheridan County, Wyoming, for the taxes which have been duly assessed against the same for the year of 1912, amounting to the sum of thirty -eight cents (380), including interest, penalty and costs thereon as by law provided. That the property as above described was the year of 1912 taxes in the name of James Schoonover. (Together with other lands) That the above parties, and each of them, after diligent search and inquiry, could not be found in Sheridan County, Wyoming. That the period for redemption of the above described parcels of land from said sale will expire on July 5, 1916, and that the undersigned will apply to the County Treasurer of Sheridan County, Wyoming, on July 7, 1916, for tax deed to said property. /s/ F. Hunter, Purchaser KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That whereas, the following described real property, viz: Lot Two (2) in Block Three (3) of Wood's Addition to the Town (now City) of Sheridan, Wyoming, SHERIDAN COUNTY ABSTRACT AND TITLE COMPANY -48- (continued) as the same has been surveyed, platted and filed in the office of the County Clerk of Sheridan County, Wyoming, (together with other land) was subject to taxation for the year 1912 and whereas the taxes assessed upon said real property for the year aforesaid, remained unpaid at the date of such sale hereinafter named, and whereas the treasurer of the said county did on July 5, 1913, by virtue of the authority vested by law, at (an adjourned sale,) the sale begun and publicly held on July 5, 1913, expose to public sale at the court house, or building used as a county court house, in the county aforesaid, in substantial conformity with all the requisitions of the statute in said cases made and provided, the real property above described, for the payment of the taxes, in- terest and cost due, and remaining unpaid on said property, and whereas at the time and place aforesaid, F. C. Hunter of the County of Sheridan and State of Wyoming, having offered to pay the sum of Three Dollars and seventy -six cents, being the whole amount of taxes, interest and costs then due and remaining unpaid on said property, said sum having been made by him to the said treasurer the said property was stricken off to him at that price and, whereas, three years have elapsed since the date of said sale, and the said property has not been redeemed therefrom as provided by law; now, therefore, I, Mrs. Gertrude Wilhelm, Treasurer of the county aforesaid, for and in consideration of the said sum to the treasurer paid as aforesaid, and by virtue of the statute in such cases made and provided, have granted, bargained and sold by these presents do grant, bargain and sell, unto the said F. C. Hunter, his heirs and assigns, the real property last hereinbefore described, to have and to hold unto him, the said F. C. KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That whereas, the following described real property, viz: Lot 2, Block 3, Woods Addition (Together with other lands) situated in the County of Sheridan, and the State of Wyoming was subject to taxiation for the year 1929; and whereas the taxes assessed upon said real property for the year 1929, remained due and unpaid at the date of such sale hereinafter named, and whereas the treasurer of the said County did on June 28, 1930, by virtue of the authority vested by law at, the sale begun and publicly held on June 28, 1930, expose to public sale at the court house in the county aforesaid, in substantial conformity with the re- quirements of the statute in such cases made and provided, the real property above described, for the payment of the taxes, in- terest and costs then due, and remaining unpaid on said property, amount being Twenty -three and 40/100 ($23.40) Dollars, and whereas, at the time and place of such sale said real property could not be sold for the amount of taxes and costs of advertising due on the same, the said treasurer then and there bid in and purchased said real property for the County of Sheridan, Wyoming, for the amount of the taxes and costs aforesaid, and thereupon issued A Certifi- cate of Purchase to said County, and whereas four years have elapsed since the date of said sale, and the said property has not been redeemed therefrom as provided for by law; now, therefore I, Mabel D. Johnson, treasurer of the county aforesaid for and in considera- tion of the said sum to the treasurer paid as aforesaid, and by virtue of the statue in such case made and provided, have granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell, unto the said County of Sheridan, the real property herein - before described, to have and to hold unto the said County of Sheri- dan forever, subject, however, to all the rights of redemption provided by law, and due and regular notice, provided by law, of the expiration of the time of redemption having been given by registered mail on the person in whose name such land or lots have described was taxed or specially assessed, and the above described land or lots being unoccupied and no person being in actual pos- session thereof. /s /Mabel D. WHEREAS: Lot 2, Block 3, Woods Addition (together with other land) was sold to the County of Sheridan, State of Wyoming on June 28, 1930, for the delinquent tax, penalty and interest for the year 1929, and WHEREAS, the County Treasurer of said County of Sheridan in accordance with provisions of the Statute issued a Tax Deed bearing date of January 28, 1936, for said real estate to the said County of Sheridan, which deed is recorded in the office of the County Clerk of said County, in Book 35, at page 103, and WHEREAS, Wm. W. Hain has now offered the County of Sheridan, State of Wyoming, the sum of Thirteen and 42/100 ($13.42) Dollars, being a sum equal to or greater than the amount of the delinquent taxes, penalty and interest to date for the purchase of said land, and WHEREAS, by Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of Sheridan County, State of Wyoming, in regular session assembled this 4th day of March, 1936, the offer of the said Wm. W. Hain was accepted, therefor KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Sheridan, State of Wyoming, for and on behalf of said Sheridan County, Wyoming, in consideration of the sum of Thirteen and 42/100 ($13.42) Dollars to them in hand paid by Wm. W. Hain, the receipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged, have remised, released, and forever quitclaimed and by these presents do for themselves, their successors and assigns, remise, release and forever quitclaim unto the said Wm. H. Hain, his heirs and assigns, forever, all such right, title, interest, property, possession, claim and demand, as they have or ought to have, in or to all the following described premises, TO -WIT: Lot 2, Block 3, Woods Addition (Together with other land) TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said premises unto Wm. Huntington of County of Sheridan and State of Wyom- ing having offered to pay the sum of no dollars and twenty five cents, being the whole amount of taxes, interest and costs then due and remaining unpaid on said property for Lot (5) Block (2) Woods Addition to the town of Sheridan, Sheridan County, Wyoming which was the least quantity had for and payment of said sum having been made by him to the said treasurer the said property was striken off to him at that price and whereas three years have elapsed since the date of said sale and the said property has not been redeemed therefrom as provided by law, now therefore, I, H. Fulmer, Treasurer of the county aforesaid for and in consideration of the said sum to the treasurer paid as aforesaid and by virtue of the statue in such cases made and provided have granted, bar- gained and sold and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell unto the said Harry M. Huntington his heirs and assigns the real property last herein before described to have and to hold unto him the said Harry M.
